Piper's Stuff

Oh yeah, if you got here from someplace and have no clue who I am, my full name is Scott Hudson, but most people here in Reno call me Piper

.

I guess everyone wonders what to put on a page like this, What I do and the activities and beliefs that seem to define me are represented on the other pages of this site.

First the most important thing, My son Montgomery, he is the dude, and I love him above all else.

Bio stuff :
I am in my High 40s, Married, Tall and dark haired. I have a bit of a twisted view of things. I enjoy British Humor, heck most humor, I appreciate Puns, but am not very good at them. Eclectic is my best descriptor. I think, if you really need more, look at the links page, all that stuff is there because it fits in my life somehow.

I guess one of the first things you would notice is I wear kilts, It started out when I first was playing the bagpipes, and I started wearing them more and more. They are very comfortable and I just plain like them.

I have a hard time accepting the prevailing thought of political correctness and forced equality. The only way to make everyone equal, is hold at the LOWEST level. I have always wanted to get a good answer to the following questions, but usually all I get are insults and pabulum.

1. Why is providing Tax Breaks etc. for the middle class and up, a bad thing?
2. Why do I have to be tolerant and accepting of everybody, WHY can't I dislike what some people are and do?
3. Why cant I ignore someone's rights as long as they ignore their responsibility?
4. Why do we blame everyone and everything except the criminal/wrong doer/"victim" for the things they do?
Ah..the word victim..I do not mean someone who is a victim, like a victim of assault etc. I mean someone who has been IDed as a victim due to birth, circumstances, or any other category they have no control over
5. Why can there be women's only health spas, but NEVER a men's only one?
6. If women need special women's only places, to feel safe, and men do not, isn't that saying men are stronger, more together and better than women?
7. Why isn't American sign language considered a second language for ESL/Bilingual certification?
8. Why is a black teen, who grew up on a ranch in Montana lumped, culturally, in with a black teen who grew up in a New York ghetto, or any other scenario that places race etc. over nurture?
9. Why can’t a book, film, song, or other form of expression, just be fun, sad, horrific, with out providing the "correct" role models or messages?
10. Why won't people read the manual.
11. Why do people feel they "have to take care of" those they believe are beneath them, "for their own good"?
12. Why do the lowest students (special ed) get to go bowling, and do the real fun things, when they really need more class time and those that are ahead, just get more work and never get to “ spend every Friday on a fun activity?
13. Why do I have to accept that an idiot, someone destined to clean McDonald's restrooms for the rest of their lives, is my equal?
